  • Willie B Johnson Recreation Center 12225 Willowdell Drive Dallas, TX, 75243 United States (map)

Repurpose & Express: Sustainable Art Residency! Over the next 8 weeks, we will explore creativity, sustainability, and self-expression through art. Inspired by iconic artists like Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Andy Warhol, we will use recycled materials to create unique, meaningful works of art. This guide will help you navigate the program, understand key concepts, and get inspired!

What to Expect?

Each week, we will focus on a new artistic technique and project, using found objects, fabric, paper, and other sustainable materials. Through hands-on activities and collaborative work, you’ll develop artistic skills while learning how art can tell stories and impact communities.
